The Hall at Christ Church College.
No stay in Oxford is complete without visiting Christ Church. Here we are in the hall (the refectory), the walls of which are decorated with portraits of some of the college's most famous students, among them 13 Prime Ministers. Pride of place goes to a grand portrait of Henry VIII, who in 1546 changed the name of the college from that of Cardinal College to Christ Church.
